November means it’s Hockey Fights Cancer month and for the next few weeks, teams will be doing special events to help raise money for cancer research. The Nashville Predators donated $60,000 from game proceeds to the 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund presented by Twice Daily and planned special in-game activities for pediatric cancer patients who were attending the game.

The Boston Bruins brought young “Mighty Quinn” Waters, a young fan who found strength watching the Bruins play while undergoing chemotherapy. While the Chicago Blackhawks are auctioning off their lavender pre-game jerseys to raise money for multiple organizations in Chicago based on cancer research.
